The top plate is in an oiled wood in the color of smoked oak with a small 5.5 cm diameter brass-coated disk, as well as a small brass tube with a fabric cord. The top plate has a brass-plated metal plate on the underside and the socket housing is a brass-plated metal.

The lamps are produced in Europe in PEFC Certified wood, a global organization that supports responsible forestry through forest certification and labeling of products based on wood.
